All is Merry and Bright

In this season of merry and bright I am glad to report MFHG is merry and bright.

There have been many firsts for us. We have had an encounter with the judicial system. I am sorry to say a court appointed attorney does not know the client from a "hole in the wall". I am of the opinion a court appointed attorney is given to someone, just so the "system" can declare the person had representation. The court appointed attorney we encountered met with their client the day the client had to appear before the judge, needless to say same attorney kept asking for a continuance. This particular attorney was in another county representing other clients!

I want to thank God for the people praying for our young adult, despite all the hurdles the judicial system presented, it turned out to be merry and bright!

I want to thank all our supporters for their provisions to MFHG. We have used the funds for gas, meals, groceries, Christmas gifts and other essentials our young adults could not bear the cost.

We have found jobs, had tough love days, have been "ghosted" have showed love and compassion, but again it is merry and bright.

We look forward to 2024. There may be challenges ahead, but whenever faith is present the impossible is doable!
